There was a fire outbreak at the popular Yola South main market on Monday morning, destroying goods and properties worth millions of naira in the Adamawa state capital.
Though no life was lost, witness said the fire began around 3am.
The effort of the fire service men from the American University of Nigeria to contain the inferno brought calmness to the area.
