Dasuki, Others To Spend Christmas In Kuje Prison

A former National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki might be spending Christmas in Kuje prison.
Dasuki, who is being prosecuted for two sets of charges before two judges of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, has not been able to meet up with the bail conditions granted him last Friday and on Monday.
The Punch reports that a close source to the ex-NSA confirmed at about 10pm yesterday, Wednesday, December 23, that Dasuki and some of the accused persons were yet to meet the bail conditions, especially the ones granted them on Friday.

The week has been so short that it also affected the turnout of the situation. Wednesday being the last working day before Christmas and Eid-el-Malud, the possibility of the former NSA and the other defendants remaining in prison during the festivities is almost certain.
Thursday (today) is Eid-el-Malud holiday, while Friday and Monday have been declared as Christmas and Boxing Day holiday respectively, making it very bleak for Dasuki, Shuaibu Salisu, who is a former director of finance and administration in the office of the NSA, Aminu Baba-Kusa, a former director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, to leave.
