Justice Ishaq Bello of the federal capital territory (FCT) high court, Abuja, on Monday, adjourned the trial of Olisa Metuh, spokesman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), because he could no longer see clearly.
Almost immediate after the case was called, Justice Bello complained that his vision had become “shadowy”, and as such the trial would not continue.
“I had a surgery on my eyes, and I am already seeing shadows…so for this reason we will have to adjourn.” Metuh, who was in court, is facing charges for destruction of evidence brought against him by EFCC. He is also facing multiple counts of criminal breach of trust and money laundering preferred against him by the EFCC at the federal high court, Abuja.
Justice Bello thus moved the trial to May 26.
