Mr. Dasuki’s arrest comes just after he met the conditions of bail set by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The former NSA is at the center of an ever-expanding scandal involving the illegal diversion of billions of dollars during his tenure as NSA, much of which is now understood to have aided the presidential campaign of Goodluck Jonathan.  The stolen money, some of which was authorized by the former Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, was intended to purchase weapons to support the military’s fight against Boko Haram.
Mr. Dasuki was originally granted bail on November 3rd by Justice Adeniyi Ademola but was then placed under house arrest by DSS operatives.
Mr. Ahmed Raji, Mr. Dasuki’s legal counsel, confirmed his client’s re-arrest over the phone with Punch Newspaper.
“That’s correct, he was re-arrested by the operatives of the DSS and whisked away to an unknown destination.
“He met the bail conditions set for him by the judge, but as he was stepping outside the prison, he was arrested,” Mr. Raji explained
