Mammoth crowd of supporters and members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday, came out en masse to give a rousing welcome to the party’s Chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, who paid an official visit to Jigawa State.
Sheriff, who was accompanied to the state by PDP Deputy National Chairman, Uche Secondus; Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State; members of the National Assembly and top party chieftains, was received by the Jigawa PDP led by former Governor of the state, Alhaji Sule Lamido. The occasion also served as a Registration Exercise for members of the PDP in the state.
