Kogi: ‘Bello’s emergence a divine arrangement’

A support group under the leadership of Commodore Folusho Daniel (rtd), Consolidation 2015, has hailed the emergence of Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello as Governor-Elect of Kogi State.

Rising from the leadership meeting of the group at the country home of the retired Naval Commodore at Orokere Amuro, Mopamuro Local Government Area of Kogi State, the group said the emergence of Bello was a divine arrangement to bring true change to Kogi State.

Addressing pressmen at the end of the meeting, the group’s spokesman, Mr. Abayomi Oloke said the group has decided to reactivate its membership of the APC, as events have overtaken the decision of its principal to defect to Accord Party after the injustice which trailed the primaries.

He said members never left APC and therefore are part of the unfolding history in the state.

“As a group within the All Progressives Congress, we wish to congratulate Alh. Yahaya Bello for his divine victory.

We wish to put on record that the group didn’t only produced his coordinator prior to the primaries, but delivered 100% at the primaries to Adoza. Today, the fruits of our labour has become the gain of the entire citizens of the state.

“We also wish to welcome our leader, Michael Folusho Daniel back to his party, the All Progressives Congress.

As far as we are concerned, Daniel was a foundation member of our great party and his return home will help consolidate the dominance of APC in Mopamuro.

“We have no doubt that Daniel will be able to work with other leaders in the Local Government Area such Clarence Olafemi, Mr. Henry Abimbola and Abayomi Obaro to take the party to greater heights”.

Also speaking to our reporters, Samuel Adeoye hailed Michael Folusho Daniel as a leader who has set records in representative democracy.

In his words: “Today, we are happy that our leader, Folusho Daniel is back in APC. People like him are needed to add impetus to the dominance of APC because he has made his mark as the best House of Assembly member to have represented our people.

He gave electricity to communities, he built heath centres, provided water and empowered the people.

“As we celebrate the reunion of our leaders, we urge all party supporters to give peace a chance in order to support the Governor-Elect to achieve its set goals of transforming Kogi”.
